HopeRun Software Singapore Pte Ltd is currently seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join our team in Johor Bahru on a 1-year renewable contract basis. Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy SD-WAN solutions to optimize connectivity across distributed enterprise sites.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain network performance, ensuring high availability and minimal latency for business-critical applications.
- Implement and manage network security platforms, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Conduct regular network security audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain organizational compliance and data integrity.
- Provide tier-2 and tier-3 technical support for network-related incidents and service requests.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to develop and execute network migration strategies and hardware refresh projects.
- Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including topology diagrams, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and administration.
- In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN technologies (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Fortinet, or VMware SD-WAN).
- Proven expertise in network security tools and best practices.
- Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP).
- Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in both English and Malay.
