Job Description

Join Newport World Resorts as a Non Catalog Procurement Associate and play a critical role in shaping strategic sourcing for goods and services not listed in traditional catalogs. You will build strong, trust-based partnerships with suppliers, run competitive sourcing events, and negotiate terms that balance quality, service levels, and total cost of ownership. You will own the end-to-end procurement cycle for non catalog items, including needs assessment, RFQ creation, bid analysis, supplier selection, contract terms where applicable, and purchase order issuance. Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end non catalog procurement process including needs assessment, RFQ creation, bid evaluation, supplier selection, contract terms where applicable, and purchase order issuance.
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships, monitor performance, and negotiate favorable terms to optimize quality and total cost of ownership.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, IT, and guest services to define specifications, service levels, and delivery timelines.
  • Conduct market research, supplier scouting, and competitive bidding to identify savings opportunities and drive value.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, governance, and accurate record-keeping while managing spend against budget.
  • Mitigate supplier risk, manage contracts where applicable, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide timely reporting on procurement activity, savings, and supplier performance to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably with non catalog procurement.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP or e-procurement systems and MS Excel for data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork abilities.
