Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and visionary Nurse Manager to lead our Operating Theatre (OT) department in the Central Region. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing high-standard peri-operative nursing care, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal clinical outcomes within the surgical suite.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of surgical nursing protocols, and a commitment to patient safety and operational excellence. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between clinical excellence and administrative efficiency, ensuring that our operating theatres run smoothly to support life-saving procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff within the Operating Theatre.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical standards, safety protocols, and hospital regulations.
- Manage daily OT scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between surgeons, anesthetists, and the multidisciplinary surgical team.
- Oversee inventory management of surgical equipment and medical supplies.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators related to patient care and theater throughput.
- Lead staff training, performance appraisals, and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) practicing certificate.
- Minimum 5-8 years of clinical experience in an Operating Theatre setting.
- At least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory position (Nurse Manager/Senior Nurse).
- Advanced certification in Peri-operative Nursing or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure medical environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead diverse healthcare teams.
- Proficient in medical record management and hospital information systems.
