Responsibilities
- Conduct individual nutrition assessments and develop customized meal plans based on client goals, health status, and cultural preferences.
- Provide ongoing counseling and follow‑up sessions to track progress, adjust plans, and motivate clients toward sustainable lifestyle changes.
- Deliver group workshops and seminars on topics such as weight management, sports nutrition, and preventive health.
- Collaborate with fitness trainers, physicians, and wellness coaches to create integrated health programs.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest nutritional research and incorporate evidence‑based practices into service offerings.
- Assist in developing educational materials, brochures, and digital content for client outreach.
- Participate in community outreach events and health fairs to promote LAC’s wellness initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a related field.
- Professional certification as a Nutritionist or Dietitian (e.g., Malaysian Nutrition Association).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, wellness consulting, or a similar role.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of macronutrients, micronutrients, dietary guidelines, and meal planning software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and educate diverse audiences.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems and MS Office applications.
- Passion for health promotion and a client‑centred approach to care.
