Job Description

Kiddles (Kids Learning Chinese) is a vibrant early childhood education center dedicated to nurturing the cognitive, social, and motor development of children through innovative bilingual programs. We are currently seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Bogor Utara, Jawa Barat.

As an Occupational Therapist at Kiddles, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing therapeutic interventions that support children’s fine motor, sensory integration, and self‑care skills. Working closely with teachers, parents, and other health professionals, you will help create individualized therapy plans that align with each child’s learning goals and developmental milestones.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess and evaluate children’s developmental, sensory, and motor abilities through standardized tools and observation.
  • Develop customized occupational therapy intervention plans based on assessment findings and educational objectives.
  • Deliver therapy sessions in a playful, engaging environment that integrates with the center’s bilingual curriculum.
  • Monitor and document each child’s progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed and sharing updates with parents and educators.
  • Collaborate with teachers to embed therapeutic techniques into daily classroom activities.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, workshops, and professional development training.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Assess children’s sensory, motor, and functional development using appropriate evaluation methods.
  • Design and implement individualized therapy programs aligned with each child’s educational and therapeutic goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
  • Maintain detailed progress notes, therapy logs, and reports for each child.
  • Coordinate with parents, teachers, and external health professionals to ensure holistic child development.
  • Integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities to reinforce learning outcomes.
  • Stay current with emerging research and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (S1/S2) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license or registration as an Occupational Therapist in Indonesia.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in an educational or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, sensory integration, and fine motor skill interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proactive, compassionate, and passionate about early childhood education.
