Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, schedule shipments, and manage transport arrangements to ensure on-time delivery to customers and production lines.
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory across multiple sites, maintain accurate records, and support cycle counting.
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to optimize routes, negotiate terms, and meet service level agreements.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and generate KPI reports on logistics performance.
  • Support production planning with material availability, lead times, and contingency planning to minimize production downtime.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, shorten lead times, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Ensure health, safety, and quality standards are followed in all logistics operations, including proper handling and storage of materials.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, operations management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or operations, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong MS Excel/data analysis skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities; able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Knowledge of shipping, customs, and regulatory requirements relevant to Malaysia.
