Filtrona Manufacturing Indonesia is looking for a dynamic and experienced Operation Manager to take charge of our production and engineering functions. As the Operation Manager, you will be the bridge between production planning and execution. You will oversee daily plant operations, coordinate with engineering teams to enhance manufacturing workflows, and ensure that safety and quality standards are uncompromising. Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and strategic direction for the Production and Engineering departments.
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure targets are met on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements and optimize production efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate logistics for the efficient flow of materials and finished goods.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors, operators, and engineering staff.
- Analyze production data and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management to drive decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Proven track record of leading production teams and successfully improving operational workflows.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control systems (ISO standards), and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and production planning software.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing production demands and schedules.
