Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and scheduling daily delivery routes to optimise timeliness and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth handover of goods.
- Monitor delivery performance metrics and report any deviations or issues to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documents and shipment details.
- Support inventory management by verifying incoming and outgoing goods against documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the delivery process.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery-related concerns promptly and professionally.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum NITEC or equivalent qualification; diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is advantageous.
- Proven experience in operations, delivery coordination, or logistics support roles.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and basic logistics software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Knowledge of local traffic regulations and delivery best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
