Responsibilities
- Manage and process customs permit declarations for import and export shipments, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and internal teams to facilitate timely and cost-effective logistics operations.
- Oversee inventory control activities, including stock counts, adjustments, and reconciliation to maintain accurate records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Monitor warehouse operations to ensure adherence to safety standards and operational procedures.
- Prepare and maintain documentation such as shipping records, invoices, and reports for management review.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support logistics planning and scheduling to optimize resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics operations, customs clearance, or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of customs permit declaration requirements and trade compliance in Singapore.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
