You will oversee daily operations, streamline clearance processes, and act as the primary liaison between our logistics team, customs officials, and our diverse portfolio of clients. Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end customs brokerage operations, ensuring timely clearance and documentation accuracy.
- Supervise, mentor, and lead the operations staff to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of BOC (Bureau of Customs) regulations and tariff classifications.
- Resolve complex shipping, clearance, and delivery issues with external stakeholders and government agencies.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce cargo turnaround time.
- Conduct regular audits of shipping files to ensure compliance with international and local trade laws.
- Prepare and analyze daily operational performance reports for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a Customs Brokerage or Freight Forwarding environment.
- Valid Customs Broker License (Professional Regulation Commission) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of e-TRACC, E2M, and other BOC automated systems.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and logistics management software.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Filipino.
