Responsibilities
- Monitor internal digital systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Perform real-time incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution of system outages.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline manual operational tasks and reduce toil.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy updates, patches, and infrastructure changes seamlessly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and incident logs.
- Monitor server capacity and performance metrics to proactively address potential bottlenecks.
- Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 reliability of critical internal services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Operations Support, System Administration, or DevOps role.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, ELK stack, Nagios, or Prometheus).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle high-pressure environments.
