Responsibilities
- Design and fabricate custom orthotic insoles utilizing advanced 3D modelling software and CNC milling machines.
- Perform 3D scanning and digital modeling to create patient-specific orthotic solutions tailored to medical prescriptions.
- Operate and maintain CNC machinery to ensure high-precision output, minimize material waste, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Conduct rigorous quality control checks on finished orthotics to ensure accuracy in fit, arch support, and structural integrity.
- Collaborate closely with podiatrists and medical professionals to interpret prescriptions and adjust designs as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist in the assembly and finishing processes of custom footwear and orthotic devices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or vocational certificate in Drafting, Design, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Experience with CNC programming or operating CNC milling equipment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in 3D modelling software (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Basic understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work with precision tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
