Join Accenture as a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer and play a pivotal role in configuring, deploying, and supporting packaged and SaaS applications for our clients in the Philippines and globally. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and operations teams to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability across complex environments. This role blends technical depth with client-facing communication, requiring a disciplined approach to configuration, testing, and ongoing optimization.
As part of our technology practice, you will translate business requirements into scalable SaaS configurations, implement integrations using standard APIs, and apply best-practice change control. You will participate in release planning, perform incident response, monitor performance, and drive optimization across platforms. You will also contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior engineers to help grow a high-performing team.
What you'll do includes working with packaged and SaaS ecosystems (CRM, ERP, HRIS, finance, or industry-specific solutions), ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance, and supporting end-to-end lifecycle from onboarding to optimization. Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and integrate packaged or SaaS applications to align with client business processes and security standards.
- Plan and manage release cycles, versioning, and change control using standard tools and APIs.
- Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, and QA to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement proactive fixes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and user guides for configurations and integrations.
- Monitor performance, implement optimization strategies, and ensure SLA adherence.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in client workshops to gather requirements and translate them into implementable configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and/or supporting packaged or SaaS applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of integration concepts and APIs (REST, SOAP), and middleware/tools.
- Experience with release management, change control, and versioning processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work with global teams.
- Relevant certifications in SaaS products or cloud services are a plus.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional designs.
