As a Part Sales Engineer, you will be the primary technical point of contact for customers looking to rent or purchase Kobelco excavators, loaders, and related machinery in Bali. You will translate complex specifications into practical solutions, ensuring customers get the right tool for their job. You will conduct on-site demonstrations, assist with machine selection, and provide clear, competitive quotes.
You will build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by identifying new opportunities, attending industry events, and leveraging relationships with contractors, rental companies, mining firms, and civil construction agencies.
Key outcomes include achieving quarterly sales targets, expanding Kobelco's market share in Bali, and delivering superior customer experience from first contact through after-sales support. You will collaborate with service, parts, and training teams to ensure smooth installation, timely maintenance, and effective operator training when required.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute field sales plans in Bali to meet revenue targets for Kobelco machinery.
- Conduct needs assessments and deliver technical demonstrations for excavators and related equipment.
- Prepare and present customized proposals and quotes; negotiate terms and close deals.
- Build strong relationships with key clients including contractors, mining firms, and civil engineers; provide ongoing after-sales support.
- Coordinate with service, parts, and training teams to ensure installation, commissioning, and operator training.
- Monitor market trends and gather competitive insights to inform product marketing and sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, manage sales pipeline, and provide accurate forecasts.
- Travel within Bali to meet customers and maintain high standards of customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in technical sales or sales engineering in heavy equipment or construction machinery; knowledge of Kobelco products is a plus.
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to explain specifications and performance data.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in Indonesian; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel frequently within Bali and occasionally to other sites.
- Proficient with CRM software and MS Office; experience creating proposals and quotes.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, customer-focused with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
