Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
- Maintain and update patient medication records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and expiry checks.
- Provide outstanding customer service, responding to medication queries and offering guidance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety procedures, and hygiene protocols.
- Support the pharmacist in clinical tasks such as health screenings and patient consultations.
- Keep the pharmacy area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Proficiency in handling prescription software and inventory management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and safety.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic knowledge of Malaysian pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines.
