Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and labeling of medications accurately.
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory levels, including monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary.
- Maintain patient records and pharmacy documentation with high levels of confidentiality and precision.
- Provide front-line support by addressing patient inquiries regarding medication usage and pharmacy services.
- Ensure compliance with all local health regulations, safety protocols, and pharmacy standard operating procedures.
- Perform regular stock checks and expiry date monitoring to maintain product integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment for staff and patients alike.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or a related healthcare discipline.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting or healthcare facility is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of medication types, dosage forms, and pharmaceutical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered service.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and basic office computer applications.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure zero-error dispensing.
