Job Description

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Dolores Community Health Center (CHC) is seeking a dedicated Physician to join as Clinic Administrator. This role blends clinical practice with leadership, delivering high-quality primary care in a community setting. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, provide preventive care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote wellness and health equity in Dolores and surrounding areas.

As Clinic Administrator, you will oversee daily clinical workflows, supervise medical and support staff, and develop and enforce standard operating procedures that ensure patient safety, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with local health authorities, support vaccination campaigns, screening programs, and community outreach activities, and lead quality improvement initiatives that elevate service delivery and patient outcomes. Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you engage patients, families, and partner organizations in a compassionate, culturally sensitive manner.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinical workflows, supervise physicians, nurses, and allied health staff, and manage staffing schedules.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce clinic protocols, standard operating procedures, and clinical guidelines in partnership with the PRC medical leadership.
  • Ensure accurate medical records, documentation, coding/compliance, and data privacy in line with national regulations.
  • Coordinate with local health authorities and community partners to support immunization programs, screenings, and health education campaigns.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, monitor key performance indicators, and optimize patient flow and service delivery.
  • Foster a compassionate, patient-centered environment and communicate effectively with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD) or DO and current Philippines physician license.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of clinical experience in primary care; leadership or clinic administration experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and health information systems.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and community engagement abilities.
