Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patients with orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions using evidence-based methods.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on restoring function and reducing pain.
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and self-management techniques.
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement projects and contribute to clinical education programs.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practice through continuous learning and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution (e.g., Bachelor's or Master's).
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, neurology, or cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork and patient education.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Familiarity with healthcare documentation standards and electronic medical records is a plus.
