Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and functional evaluations, to diagnose conditions and determine treatment needs.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient goals, promoting recovery, function, and independence.
- Provide a range of physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, and patient education.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment techniques, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with professional standards and clinic policies.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid professional registration/license to practice as a Physiotherapist in Malaysia (if applicable).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience as a Physiotherapist is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and evidence-based physiotherapy practices.
- Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
