Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose physical impairments and functional limitations
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for acute care and community-based rehabilitation
- Specialize in musculoskeletal (MSK), stroke, geriatric, and neurorehabilitation therapies
- Utilize advanced physiotherapy techniques to improve mobility, manage pain, and restore function
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercise protocols, preventive care, and home management strategies
- Document clinical progress and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with AHPC standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, integrated patient care
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Current registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Singapore
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute care or community rehabilitation settings
- Specialized expertise in musculoskeletal, stroke, geriatric, or neurorehabilitation
- Strong assessment skills and proficiency in therapeutic exercise techniques
- Excellent communication abilities for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
- CPR certification and willingness to pursue continuing education
