Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments to identify patient issues and functional limitations.
- Design and implement customized treatment plans based on evidence-based clinical reasoning.
- Deliver high-quality manual therapy techniques including joint mobilization and soft tissue manipulation.
- Prescribe and monitor therapeutic exercise programs to facilitate recovery and prevent future injury.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment goals accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on self-management strategies and ergonomic improvements.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare providers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in internal training sessions and contribute to the clinic's clinical development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university.
- Full registration with the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH) and a valid Annual Practicing Certificate.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience, specifically in musculoskeletal (MSK) or sports physiotherapy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex conditions in simple terms.
- Strong manual therapy skills and a commitment to hands-on treatment.
- A proactive learner who stays updated with the latest research in the field.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and professional ethics.
