Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of construction projects, including planning, design, budgeting, and execution.
- Manage project financials, ensuring strict adherence to budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee the selection and management of external consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Review and approve architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and design proposals.
- Ensure full compliance with Philippine building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to define project scope and align deliverables with business goals.
- Monitor project progress using project management tools and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Mentor and develop the project management and design team to enhance capabilities and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction planning, design, and project management, specifically in retail or commercial projects.
- Licensed Architect or Civil Engineer (PRC License) is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from conception through completion.
- Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of local real estate laws, permitting processes, and construction standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
