About the Role
Join Motortrade Nationwide Corporation as our Planning and Design Manager. You will lead and coordinate all planning, design, and construction activities for our real estate and property initiatives. This senior role requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, and hands on leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to translate program requirements into executable plans, and you will champion quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across all phases.
The ideal candidate combines strong project controls with collaborative leadership, leveraging modern tools and processes to optimize design feasibility, cost control, and schedule performance. You will drive procurement planning, risk management, value engineering, and continuous improvement to maximize value for stakeholders and customers in the Metro Manila region.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development of master plans, design concepts, and constructability reviews for real estate and property projects.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring alignment with program goals.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to drive design quality and compliance with codes and safety standards.
- Implement and monitor project controls, risk management, and change management processes.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards on site and during design reviews.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to planning and design teams; foster collaboration across departments.
- Prepare progress reports for senior management and stakeholders; present status updates and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in planning, design, and construction management, preferably in real estate or property development.
- Proven leadership and team management experience; ability to lead cross-functional groups.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and procurement.
- Proficiency with project management and design software (MS Project/Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
- Familiarity with Philippine building codes, safety regulations, and regulatory processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certifications (PMP, CPCM, or equivalent) are a plus.
