Job Description

Motortrade Nationwide Corporation is seeking a visionary and results-driven Planning and Design Manager to oversee our expansive real estate and construction portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will be the strategic lead for end-to-end project lifecycle management—from initial architectural conceptualization and planning to the final execution phase. You will ensure that our infrastructure projects not only meet rigorous safety and quality standards but are also delivered on schedule and within financial constraints.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a keen eye for design innovation, and demonstrates an unwavering commitment to operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external contractors to turn blueprints into tangible assets that align with our corporate growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and design phase for corporate infrastructure and real estate projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop comprehensive design specifications and construction drawings.
  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure high-efficiency delivery.
  • Oversee construction compliance, ensuring all activities adhere to safety regulations and local building codes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress and resolve design-related challenges on the fly.
  • Prepare progress reports and project documentation for executive management review.
  • Optimize design processes to improve cost-efficiency without compromising structural integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in construction project management or design planning.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and project management software tools (e.g., MS Project or Primavera).
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience managing vendor and contractor relationships.
