Job Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Planning Engineer to join our construction project team in the Clark Freeport Zone. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development, scheduling, and monitoring of project timelines, resource allocation, and cost management. You will work closely with project managers and site engineers to ensure that all project milestones are met on time and within budget, minimizing risk while optimizing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project master schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Monitor daily site progress against the baseline schedule and identify potential delays or bottlenecks.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports, including S-curves and dashboards, for senior management stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment on-site.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify work progress and coordinate with subcontractors regarding schedule adherence.
- Analyze resource utilization rates and recommend adjustments to optimize project productivity.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, project budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequences, and project lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs accurately.
- Current PRC License is highly preferred but not required.
- Strong background in data analysis and reporting.
