Join TE Connectivity as a Plant Procurement Manager in Tanauan City, Batangas, and lead the procurement team to drive excellence in supply chain performance for TE Connectivity's manufacturing operations in the Philippines.
In this leadership role, you will develop and execute strategic sourcing plans, manage supplier relationships, and ensure on-time, cost-effective material supply. You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and finance teams to optimize procurement processes, reduce total cost of ownership, and maintain compliance with company standards and local regulations.
As a senior procurement leader, you will mentor and grow a high-performing team, negotiate favorable terms, implement supplier risk management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement function to support TE Connectivity’s global manufacturing footprint.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Philippines procurement team to support TE Connectivity’s global and local manufacturing operations.
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and supplier diversity.
- Manage supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and performance management, including SLAs and KPIs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and finance to align purchasing with production schedules and budget targets.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives, value engineering, and total cost of ownership optimization.
- Mitigate supplier risk, monitor supplier performance, quality issues, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and local regulations, including any government procurement requirements.
- Lead continuous improvements to procurement processes and leverage digital tools/ERP for better visibility and control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of procurement or supply chain experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership/managerial role in manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
- Proficiency with ERP and procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Proven track record of achieving cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making; project management capabilities are a plus.
- Ability to navigate regulatory requirements and maintain compliance in a multinational manufacturing environment.
