Lead Enterprise Power BI Solutions
We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with 8–12 years of experience to join our dynamic team at Thakral One. In this critical role, you will lead the design, development, and optimisation of enterprise-level Power BI solutions that empower stakeholders with actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making across the organisation.
You will collaborate closely with business analysts, data engineers, and executive sponsors to translate complex business requirements into compelling visual dashboards and reports. This is an opportunity to architect scalable data models, implement best practices in data visualization, and mentor junior developers while directly impacting business strategy.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports for enterprise stakeholders.
- Architect and optimise semantic data models, including star schemas, measures, and calculated columns using DAX.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources (SQL, Azure, APIs) into Power BI.
- Establish and enforce governance, security, and performance tuning best practices for Power BI solutions.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries and solution architecture diagrams.
- Stay current with Power BI updates, Microsoft Fabric, and emerging BI trends to recommend innovative improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8–12 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, M language), SQL, and data modelling.
- Data Integration: Strong experience with ETL processes, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools.
- Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable visualisations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills; ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, leadership, and project management abilities.
