As a Procurement Analyst/Buyer, you will play a critical role in optimizing our procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Responsibilities
- Execute procurement activities including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services for the APAC region
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing data to recommend strategic sourcing decisions
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting using enterprise procurement systems
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective procurement strategies
- Evaluate and qualify suppliers through rigorous assessment processes and ongoing performance monitoring
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements across procurement operations
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements in compliance with company policies
- Support the Procurement Engine Room Leader in ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and spreadsheet applications
- Experience with procurement software and ERP systems is advantageous
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build productive supplier relationships
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Understanding of procurement best practices and market dynamics in the APAC region
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
