Job Description
AppleOne is actively seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Associate to join our team in Cebu City. In this role, you will procure office supplies, materials, and other essentials to ensure smooth operations for our affiliate clients. You will partner with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and finance to drive cost efficiency and reliability.
As a Procurement Associate, you will manage end-to-end purchasing, from identifying needs to receiving goods, to invoice reconciliation. You will monitor inventory levels, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations. Your ability to analyze spend, track savings, and maintain accurate records will help maintain uninterrupted operations across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and purchase office supplies, equipment, and materials to meet operational needs of supported affiliates.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate terms, and ensure best value and quality.
- Manage procurement orders, lead times, and delivery schedules to minimize downtime.
- Monitor budget compliance and track cost savings; process invoices and verify accuracy.
- Ensure procurement policies, approvals, and documentation are in place; maintain audit-ready records.
- Coordinate with operations, facilities, and finance teams to forecast demand and prevent stockouts.
- Analyze supplier performance, identify risk, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the onboarding of new vendors and maintain a preferred supplier list.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally in office supplies and materials.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software; Microsoft Excel advanced.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; customer-focused.
- Knowledge of local regulations and compliance in Philippines procurement.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and in a fast-paced environment.
