Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials, MRO supplies, and services to support manufacturing and logistics operations.
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining a robust vendor database.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with local and international suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
  • Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply risks to proactively mitigate disruptions.
  • Manage purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing.
  • Collaborate with inventory and production teams to align procurement plans with demand forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement KPIs, cost reductions, and supplier performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple suppliers and contracts simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
