Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials, MRO supplies, and services to support manufacturing and logistics operations.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining a robust vendor database.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with local and international suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
- Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply risks to proactively mitigate disruptions.
- Manage purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing.
- Collaborate with inventory and production teams to align procurement plans with demand forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement KPIs, cost reductions, and supplier performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2â3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple suppliers and contracts simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and Incoterms.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working under tight deadlines.
