Responsibilities
- Manage endâtoâend procurement activities including sourcing, ordering, and delivery of raw materials, goods, and services.
- Conduct market research to identify qualified suppliers, evaluate vendor performance, and benchmark pricing.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and import/export regulations.
- Coordinate with production, finance, and warehousing to forecast demand and plan inventory.
- Track and analyze procurement metrics, prepare reports, and recommend process improvements.
- Handle purchase orders, invoices, and payment processes in ERP systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supplyâchain roles, preferably within manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a track record of achieving cost reductions.
- Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Knowledge of local and international sourcing, import/export regulations, and customs procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problemâsolving, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or APICS is an advantage.
