Based in Shah Alam, Selangor, you will partner with crossâfunctional teams to develop categoryâfocused procurement strategies, negotiate highâvalue contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and sustainability.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute categoryâspecific procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market analysis and supplier evaluations to identify optimal sourcing solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value addition.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure material availability and timely delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and drive corrective actions when needed.
- Implement procurement process improvements and adopt digital tools for greater efficiency.
- Manage risk by assessing supplier financial stability and geopolitical factors.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably within manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings through negotiation and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and international trade compliance.
- Proficiency in Malay and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP is advantageous.
