Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term product strategy and roadmap for all bank loan categories, including SME, personal, and micro-loans.
- Lead the entire product development lifecycle from market research and conceptualization to pilot testing and nationwide rollout.
- Manage the lending portfolio’s P&L, monitoring key performance indicators such as loan volume, interest income, and NPL ratios.
- Collaborate with the Risk Management and Compliance teams to ensure all loan products adhere to BSP regulations and internal credit policies.
- Drive digital innovation by integrating loan products into mobile banking platforms and streamlining the digital application process.
- Analyze competitor offerings and market trends to identify opportunities for product differentiation and market share growth.
- Mentor and lead a team of product managers, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies and promotional campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior product management leadership role.
- Expertise in loan product development, credit risk assessment, and financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling retail or commercial lending products.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing executive leadership.
- Experience in Fintech or digital lending platforms is an advantage.
