Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for ByteDance’s eDiscovery platforms and tools.
- Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation, requirements gathering, design, development, launch, to post-launch iteration and optimization.
- Collaborate closely with legal, compliance, security, and engineering teams to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product specifications and user stories.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback sessions to identify new opportunities and improve existing eDiscovery solutions.
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on business impact, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment with company objectives.
- Oversee the development and deployment of scalable, robust, and secure eDiscovery systems, ensuring compliance with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for eDiscovery systems, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous product enhancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Law, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on eDiscovery, legal technology, or compliance platforms.
- Deep understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and all phases of the eDiscovery lifecycle.
- Proven ability to define product strategy, build roadmaps, and manage complex product backlogs for large-scale enterprise software or SaaS products.
- Strong technical aptitude with experience working alongside engineering teams on data-intensive or cloud-based platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for eDiscovery processes.
