LawsGroup is seeking an experienced Production Director, Cut & Sewn Knit to lead our knit manufacturing operations in Bangladesh. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for establishing and steering a highâperforming production team, ensuring the efficient execution of cutâandâsew knit processes, and driving continuous improvement across all phases of production.
Working closely with senior management, you will align production schedules with market demand, optimise resource utilisation, and maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your strategic oversight will support the achievement of ambitious production targets while fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute production plans that meet or exceed monthly and quarterly output targets.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a skilled production team to ensure high employee engagement and performance.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
- Manage endâtoâend supply chain coordination, from raw material sourcing to finishedâgoods delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and ethical labour practices.
- Collaborate with design, merchandising, and logistics to streamline product launches.
- Monitor KPI dashboards, analyse variance, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Drive cost optimisation programmes while maintaining product integrity and brand reputation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8âŻyears of experience in knit apparel production, with at least 3âŻyears in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in cutâandâsew knit manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of meeting production targets and cost goals.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, capable of building highâperformance teams.
- Proficiency in production planning software, ERP systems, and dataâdriven decision making.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholderâengagement abilities.
- Bachelorâs degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Technology, Business Administration, or related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Willingness to be stationed in Bangladesh and travel as required.
