We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled Production Engineer to join our growing team in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor.
The Role
As a Production Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality, and driving continuous improvement across the plant. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure targets are met efficiently and safely.
- Implement and monitor process optimization strategies to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
- Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and other food safety standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues to reduce downtime.
- Lead continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma) to streamline operations.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, R&D, and Maintenance teams.
- Prepare and analyze production reports to track KPIs and drive decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor production technicians and operators.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in the food or dairy industry is a strong advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and ISO management systems.
- Proven track record in process optimization and problem-solving.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Self-motivated with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
- Willing to be based in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor.
