Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate daily production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
- Lead and mentor line personnel, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, yield rates, and cycle times, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on the production floor to minimize downtime and optimize throughput.
- Manage resource allocation, including materials, machinery, and manpower, to maximize operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety regulations (OSHA/EHS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and supply chain, to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of working experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate production line staff.
- Proficiency in using ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for operational bottlenecks.
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment and handle rotating shifts if required.
