Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all phases of the fabrication process to ensure timely project delivery.
- Implement and enforce rigorous quality control (QC) standards to maintain 'gold standard' output.
- Develop and optimize production workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize material waste.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the fabrication team, fostering a culture of precision and accountability.
- Manage resource allocation, including labor, equipment maintenance, and material inventory.
- Translate technical drawings and design specifications into actionable production plans.
- Monitor production costs and timelines, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment in compliance with industry health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or Lead in a fabrication, manufacturing, or interior fit-out environment.
- Deep technical knowledge of various materials (wood, metal, acrylic) and fabrication machinery.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse technical workforce.
- Expertise in workflow optimization and project management methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to interpret complex blueprints and CAD drawings with high accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field is preferred.
