Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines
- Optimise production capacity and resource allocation to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure raw material availability
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and productivity
- Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks
- Analyse production performance data and prepare detailed reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all planning activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning software tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous
