Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts and customer orders.
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and onâtime delivery.
- Monitor production performance and adjust plans to address bottlenecks or supply chain disruptions.
- Utilize ERP systems to update planning data, track inventory levels, and generate accurate reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement bestâpractice planning techniques.
- Communicate schedule changes and potential delays to internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Support costâreduction initiatives by optimizing resource utilization and minimizing excess inventory.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar operational role within manufacturing.
- Proficiency with ERP software and strong Excel skills for data analysis and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical abilities to interpret demand trends and translate them into feasible production plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Detailâoriented mindset with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fastâpaced environment.
- Problemâsolving aptitude and a proactive approach to addressing schedule conflicts.
