Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and capacity alignment.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Analyze demand forecasts and historical data to adjust planning parameters and improve forecast accuracy.
- Manage workâorder releases, order changes, and production status updates in the ERP system.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance scheduling efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Generate and present production performance reports, including KPIs on onâtime delivery and schedule adherence.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problemâsolving abilities, with a dataâdriven mindset.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fastâpaced setting.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is an advantage.
