Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Monitor material levels and coordinate with procurement to prevent production bottlenecks.
- Optimize machine scheduling to maximize equipment utilization and throughput.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage inventory accuracy.
- Generate and analyze daily production performance reports for management.
- Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance output.
- Maintain clear communication channels between the production floor and sales department regarding order status.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in production planning or coordination within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for data management and scheduling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a distinct advantage.
