Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure operational targets are met on time and within budget.
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of production operators to foster a high-performance culture.
- Monitor production output quality and implement corrective actions to minimize wastage and downtime.
- Enforce strict workplace safety (WSH) guidelines and ensure all staff adhere to company protocols.
- Coordinate with maintenance and logistics departments to streamline the supply chain and production flow.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to encourage professional growth.
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and experience with ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge gaps between operational staff and management.
- Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S methodologies, or similar process improvement tools.
- Ability to work rotating shifts if required to support production schedules.
