Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production activities to ensure operational targets are met on time and within budget.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of production operators to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Monitor production output quality and implement corrective actions to minimize wastage and downtime.
  • Enforce strict workplace safety (WSH) guidelines and ensure all staff adhere to company protocols.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and logistics departments to streamline the supply chain and production flow.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to encourage professional growth.
  • Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and experience with ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge gaps between operational staff and management.
  • Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S methodologies, or similar process improvement tools.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts if required to support production schedules.
