Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production operations to ensure output targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Manage and mentor a team of production operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Monitor production schedules and resource allocation to optimize machine utilization and labor productivity.
- Enforce strict adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) protocols across the production floor.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate production documentation, including daily reports, inventory levels, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and supply chain, to ensure seamless production cycles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse workforce.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control standards (ISO), and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle rotating shifts if necessary.
