La Juiceria Superfoods is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee operations in our central kitchen located in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. In this pivotal role, you will lead a diverse team, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency. You will be responsible for coordinating workflows, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure onātime completion of orders and adherence to production schedules.
- Maintain and enforce food safety, hygiene, and quality standards in compliance with HACCP and GMP guidelines.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, including foreign workers, fostering a collaborative and safe work environment.
- Monitor equipment performance, coordinate preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.
- Analyze production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate stock control and timely replenishment.
- Prepare production reports, track KPIs, and communicate performance updates to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, labor regulations, and occupational health & safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2ā3 years of supervisory experience in a central kitchen or largeāscale food manufacturing environment.
- Proven knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000) and quality control procedures.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multicultural teams.
- Excellent organizational and timeāmanagement abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks under pressure.
- Proficiency in production planning, inventory management, and basic data analysis (Excel or ERP systems).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks when required.
- Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Food Science, Hospitality, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
