Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Line Leaders and Production Assistants to ensure peak operational performance.
- Monitor production output against set targets for yield, quality, and cycle time, taking immediate corrective action when deviations occur.
- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain high-quality manufacturing standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma) to reduce waste and improve production efficiency.
- Ensure a safe working environment by strictly adhering to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime and optimize machine availability.
- Prepare detailed production reports and present performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing) or equivalent field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing or semiconductor production environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or 8D.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate diverse production teams.
- Ability to work on shifts and adapt to the dynamic demands of a semiconductor manufacturing facility.
- Competency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with ERP/MES systems.
