Responsibilities
- Ensure daily production targets are met by strictly following manufacturing batch tickets and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor production processes and equipment, making routine adjustments to maintain optimal quality and throughput.
- Perform regular inspections and quality checks on raw materials and finished products, documenting results accurately.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic operational issues on the production floor to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with 5S and HSE regulations.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and report any major malfunctions to supervisors.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure all products meet KLK OLEO's stringent specifications.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Kaizen) to enhance production efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in a manufacturing or production environment (experience in oleochemicals, chemicals, or FMCG is a strong advantage).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, SOPs, and safety data sheets (SDS).
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, inventory systems).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Willingness to work in shifts (if applicable) and in a physically demanding role.
- Proactive mindset with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
