Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Conduct routine quality inspections and document results to ensure product specifications are met.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues to minimise downtime.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area by following safety protocols, housekeeping standards, and wearing required PPE.
- Assist in material handling, loading/unloading, and inventory control to support smooth workflow.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements and waste reduction ideas.
- Record production data accurately and prepare shift reports for supervisory review.
- Collaborate with team leads and cross‑functional departments to meet daily targets and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- NITEC in Manufacturing, Mechanical Technology, or a related field (or equivalent).
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates and career starters are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read work instructions, schematics, and simple technical drawings.
- Good hand‑eye coordination, manual dexterity, and comfort working with machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high output quality.
- Effective communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by production demands.
