Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver goods to designated clients and distribution centers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and inventory documentation for every shift.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Coordinate with the dispatch team to plan the most efficient routes and handle schedule adjustments effectively.
- Ensure the cleanliness and regular maintenance schedule of the assigned vehicle is strictly followed.
- Provide professional and courteous service during client interactions, ensuring signed proof of delivery is collected.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver, Truck Driver, or similar logistics role.
- Must possess a valid Professional Driver's License with the appropriate restriction codes.
- Strong knowledge of Metro Manila traffic laws, major thoroughfares, and alternate routes.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance checks.
- Physical capability to handle loading and unloading of goods.
- Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations.
- Excellent punctuality, time management skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
