Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and other radiographic examinations with precision and care
- Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality
- Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain patient records and imaging documentation with precision and confidentiality
- Participate in continuing education to stay updated with the latest radiographic techniques and technologies
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging from an accredited institution
- Valid registration with the relevant medical imaging board or association
- Proficiency in operating various radiographic equipment and imaging technologies
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members
